In situ FT-IR study of highly dispersed MnOx/SAPO-34 catalyst for low-temperature selective catalytic reduction of NOx by NH3

Highly dispersed MnOx/SAPO-34 catalyst showed both high SCR activity and N2 selectivity at low temperatures. The –NH2 species may play a very important role in determining the activity of the catalysts. The bridged nitrate species is the key intermediates in NH3-SCR reaction over the catalysts. Two possible reaction pathways involved with E-R and L-H mechanisms were proposed.
