PD patients who felt they had EMO amounted to 79.8% of respondents in this survey.

Even in the stage I patients of Hoehn-Yahr stage EMO was observed at a rate of 52.4%.

The QOL of PD patients with EMO were significantly reduced (p < 0.0001) compared with those without EMO.
