Trace elements in semen and blood discriminate people living in polluted areas. Seminal plasma is more sensitive than blood to redox status alteration. Lower sperm quality and antioxidant defenses associated to highly polluted area. In healthy males, semen is proposed as early biomarkers of environmental pollution.
