Comprehensive manufacturability modeling, Tip pointing (reworked model, adaptation to parameterisation), Undercutting (resolution of alternative models, adaptation to parameterisation), Tooth thickness analysis (unique model), Form radius analysis (reworked model). Comprehensive geometrical compatibily (interference) modeling, Pitch compatibility (unique model), Thickness-wise interference (reworked model, adaptation to parameterisation), Radial interference (new model of reduced dimensionality, introducing cfeqv), Corner contact and penetration (unique model, replaces existing simplified models), Addendum and dedendum analysis (unique analysis, reduction of model complexity). Synthesis of generalised meta-model for design feasibility. Design space representation primarily on the cc-cf plane, giving direct insights on producing compact tooth forms. Introduction of cfeqv leads to significant simplifications and new design insights. Non-linear effect of pressure angle incorporated on all sub-models. While limited models exist for each of the above aspects, none are as generalised; many explicit design insights.
