MoSi2/SiO2-B2O3-Al2O3 double layer coating can be prepared by pluse arc discharge deposition(PADD). The double layer coating can effectively protect SiC-coated C/C composites from oxidation at 1073 and 1773 K for 200 h. The double-layer coating weigh loss rate is only 0.8% after the thermal cycling tests.
