Paper-based laser induced fluorescence immunodevice for alpha fetoprotein detection was developed. A homemade laser induced fluorescence device with two optical fibres was adopted. CdTe QDs embedded silica nanoparticles with the signal enhancement function was assembled on the signal antibody. AFP was sensitively detected with the detection limit of 0.4 pg/mL.
