Unsupported Co-Mo catalyst is developed and employed for selective HDS of gasoline. HDS selectivity is fourfold that of CoMo/γ-Al2O3 at close HDS conversion. Hydrotreated FCC gasoline with sulfur (<10 ppm) and octane loss (<0.5 point). HDS selectivity is more influenced by slab length than by stacking number.
