Parental experiences with vaccine information statements: Implications for timing, delivery, and parent-provider immunization communication
文摘

We examined parental views on Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) for vaccine decisions.

Most parents reported receiving a VIS during immunization visits and found it useful.

Less than half reported reading all of the VIS prior to vaccination.

Parents with lower vaccine confidence reported challenges for provider discussion.

VIS distribution timing and parent-provider vaccine communication warrants improvement.
