A1 receptors are considered drug targets for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. A2A receptors are considered drug targets for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Novel 1,3-diethyl-7-methyl-8-(phenoxymethyl)-xanthines were synthesized. 1,3-Diethyl-7-methyl-8-(phenoxymethyl)-xanthines possess A1 and A2A affinity.
