Proposed two image processing techniques for tracking individual Janus particles. Identified JP body centers and 3-D orientations, data consistent with observation. Translation, rotation mean-square displacements agree with Brownian dynamics theory. Janus particles proved excellent microprobes for complex dynamic analysis.
