Compounds of bioactive ferrocenylthiazepines were synthesized. Complexes show sub- or micromolar IC50 values on amoebicidal activity. This favored the formation of the trans diastereomeric ferrocenylthiazepines. Results obtained from computational chemistry (HOMO and LUMO orbitals).
