Compared with different types of surfactant combined with IL pretreatment. The highest cellulose conversion was obtained with IL + bio-surfactant pretreatment. Improved the hydrophilic ability by IL + bio-surfactant pretreatment. IL + bio-surfactant is an effective and environmental pretreatment for rice straw.
