LNMO-NRs stacked with nanoparticles have been prepared by a solid-state reaction. The specific capacity of LNMO-NRs exceeded 170 mAh g−1 at 0.2 C rate. The capacity retention of LNMO-NRs approached 90% up to 100 cycles at 0.2 C rate. The remarkable performance of LNMO-NRs was attributed to the 1D structure. The 1D structure has fast Li-intercalation kinetics.
