Pd3Co additive were used to control Li2O2 size in a solution-mediated reaction. The size effect on Li2O2 particles was identified by SEM, TEM, and XRD. With the Pd3Co additive, the complete decomposition of LiOH occured below 4.0 V. The Pd3Co/KB cathode exhibited better rechargeability than the bare cathode.
