Aldosterone influences the secretome of cardiac progenitor cells. Supernatant of aldosterone treated cells induces migration and proliferation. Mineralocorticoid treatment increases interleukin-6 secretion of Sca-1 cells. Secretion of regenerative marker is augmented under aldosterone treatment.
