HSO5−/Mn+/UV-LEDs process is highly effective in the treatment of winery wastewater. Addition of PMS/Mn+ reagents in multiple doses results in faster oxidation rates. The HSO5−/Mn+/UV is more effective that the conventional photo-Fenton process at ambient conditions. EEO of the UV-A LEDs systems are more cost-effective than a conventional UV-C lamp.
