VCD administration induced ovotoxicity and reduced estradiol levels in mice. Letrozole administration for one month in ovotoxic mice enhanced bone loss. Preventive and curative treatment with raloxifene protected against bone loss. Protection was assessed by micro CT measurements and bone turnover markers. No pharmacokinetic interaction between letrozole and raloxifene was evident.
