Colorimetric detection of K-ras gene based on two-step amplification of DNA machine was proposed. DNA machine has dual functional arms responsible for a wide linear range and high sensitivity. The mutations existing in target gene are easily observed by the naked eye. Real sample analyses display the potential of DNA machine in clinic diagnosis of genetic disease.
