A new screening tool has been designed specifically for oncology outpatients. This screening based on MST included questions regarding tumour location and active treatment. Using PG-SGA as a reference method, the sensitivity and specificity are greater with NUTRISCORE compared with MST. NUTRISCORE is a novel, fast and valid nutritional screening tool for outpatients with cancer. Its simplicity and high level of accuracy facilitates its applicability.
