Pressure dependence of equimolar Tris buffer pH in synthetic seawater was quantified to 200 bar. ΔVTris⁎ was quantified between 10 and 30 °C in synthetic seawater. Results are in excellent agreement with reported values measured in 0.725 mol kg− 1 NaCl solution.
