Cdc25B and cdc25A phosphatases are prominent stimulators of cell cycle progression and have been suggested to play oncogenic roles. In this study, we immunohistochemically investigated the expression of these phosphatases in medullary thyroid carcinoma. Cdc25B was positive in 35.8 % of cases examined.
