Shale-oil potential of Mezardere Shale – Thrace Basin was investigated.

Five wells showed continous oil saturated zones with OSI>100 mg C/g TOC.

•

An average OIP of the five wells is 405 M bbl.

•

An average OIP of the core area (1000 km2) is 325 MM bbl.
