Pyrite nanoparticles synthesized by ultrasound under optimum conditions. Complete degradation of Diclofenac achieved by pyrite nanoparticles in 3 min. Based on using radical scavengers, OH was mainly responsible for degradation of DCF. A pseudo-first-order kinetic model fitted with experimental data.
