The N-doped carbon nanotubes were produced through a simple and inexpensive way. N-doped carbon nanotubes can enhance the electrical properties of carbon materials. Triple-walled MnO2@N-doped carbon@MnO2 nanotubes were synthesized by an in situ growthing method. The sandwich-structured MnO2@N-doped Carbon@MnO2 nanotubes possessed comprehensive electrochemical performance.
