Effect of 75 ppm H2O2 against monogeneans in S. dumerili was investigated.

75 ppm H2O2 for 30 min had contractive action against these monogeneans in vitro.

S. dumerili exposed to 75 ppm H2O2 for 6 h were not influenced at 25 °C.

This treatment had anthelmintic effect against N. girellae at 25 and 30 °C in vivo.

In field trial, the reduction rate of these parasites in the treated fish was 100%.
