The mycelia zinc polysaccharide by Pleurotus eryngii var. tuoliensis was isolated. Hyperlipidemic mice were established by high-fat-high-cholesterol emulsion. The hepatoprotective effects of En-MZPS were investigated. The glucose was determined to the major monosaccharide component of En-MZPS. Findings demonstrated that En-MZPS had potential prevention of hyperlipidemia.
