An industrial-scale production of activated platelet-rich plasma is proposed. Platelet-rich plasma is activated using collagen, thrombin and CaCl2. Platelet-rich plasma releases high IGF-1, FGF7, PDFG-AB, TGF-β and HFG levels. Activated platelet-rich plasma can replace fetal bovine serum for HFDPC culture. Activated platelet-rich plasma is a promising candidate for hair growth promoter.
