A novel Delonix polymeric nanoparticle with ocular prospects has been prepared. Surfactant mixture controlled nanoparticle size and swelling. Delonix nanoparticles sustained the release of test BODIPY molecule. Nanoparticles were stable in simulated ocular fluids and enzymes. Nanoparticles were non-toxic to the cell lines and were uptake by ARPE-19 cells.
