Plastic polymeric wastes decrease the skid resistance of asphalt concrete. The adherence between layers depends on the type of applied load. Plastic polymeric wastes decrease the adherence between layers under dynamic load. Rubber is the polymer that less change the surface properties of asphalt concrete.
