Women with noninvasive LGSC have a significantly increased risk of serous carcinoma compared with women with APST. The increased serous carcinoma risk in women with noninvasive LGSC cannot solely be explained by invasive implants. Women with stage I APST have an increased risk of developing serous carcinoma compared with the general population.
