Present experimental results on ignition/explosion parameters for micron (48–125 μm) size conveyor rubber dust. Conveyor rubber dust is a kind of combustible dust. MEC of conveyor rubber dust was 30, 50, and 90 g/m3 for the particle size of 48, 75, and 120 μm. MIE of conveyor rubber dust is much high than 10 mJ, so rubber dust cannot be ignited by collision, friction and attrition.
