Hierarchical, lightweight, and nacre-mimetic nanocomposite film was fabricated via a simple and rapid method. The hierarchical structure of nanocomposite film enhanced the mechanical strength. Specific thermal conductivity on the parallel and perpendicular direction was obtained.
