Botulinum toxin injections are the most effective approach for the treatment of focal dystonia. The percentage of dystonic patients benefited from botulinum toxin treatment is still low in Brazil. We suggest some strategies to increase the dispensation of botulinum toxin for dystonic patients in Brazil.
