Steady flow in rotating cavity excited by oscillating core is experimentally studied. The flow has the shape of nested liquid columns rotating with different velocities. Resulting flow is superposition of flows excited by different oscillating modes. If the core frequency is twice the rotation speed, the steady flow becomes elliptical.
