A study on current practices for obtaining consent for biobanking and the legal requirements for reusing the available biomaterials and data. Enabling the secondary use of data and biomaterial through Information Technology. A tool ready to be attached to existing infrastructures (PHRs & Biobanks) enabling citizens to actively provide and update their consent according to the various national laws. A proof of concept deployment of the tool into a clinical setting and a comparison with other relevant tools.
