Complete genome sequence of Serratia fonticola strain GS2 consists of a single circular chromosome and two circular plasmids. Plant growth-promoting traits and beneficial quorum-sensing related genes were identified in the genome of Serratia fonticola strain GS2. N-acyl homoserine lactone-production and plant growth-promoting traits of Serratia fonticola strain GS2 were confirmed through biochemical analysis.
