Diffusion of adoption practices are often instigated through professional networks. Conference attendance is linked to innovation and adoption in school lunchrooms. Scholarship funds should be allocated for attendance at professional conferences. Urban areas are more likely to adopt lunchroom innovation versus those in rural areas.
