NiO nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by thermal treatment method. PVP agent played a role in stabilizing NiO nanoparticles with enhanced properties. Particle’s size was observed to increase with increasing calcination temperatures. Particle’s dispersion enhanced with increasing calcination temperatures. Energy band gap enhanced as it decreases with increasing calcination temperatures.
