Four novel diamines as chain extenders were prepared for the synthesis of PUU elastomers. PUU elastomers show sustained release properties in drug delivery applications. The PUU elastomers demonstrate good solvent resistance, hardness, and tensile strength. A detailed study between the concentration of hard segment and drug release.
