Combination treatment enhanced shelf life of Seer fish steaks.

Radiation dose of 5 kGy rendered an acceptable product with shelf life of 42 days.

A lower dose of 2 kGy with combination treatment enhanced shelf life to 34 days.

An enhanced shelf life assured longer availability of fish steaks to remote areas.
