Hyperglycemia during refeeding can present with QT prolongation. The possible mechanism underlying QT prolongation during refeeding is explained. Monitoring blood glucose levels is required to avoid hyperglycemia during refeeding. A 12-lead electrocardiogram is useful to detect QT prolongation during refeeding.
