Zn doped MoO3 nanobelts and the enhanced gas sensing properties to ethanol

The lowest operating temperature and detection limit of Zn doped MoO3 is 100 °C and 5 ppm, respectively.

The highest response value of Zn doped MoO3 to 1000 ppm ethanol is 321, which is about 15 times higher than that of pure MoO3 nanobelts.

Zn sites favor to increase the absorbing of ethanol and promote the gas-solid interaction.
