Simultaneously separating metal ions with a dual polymer inclusion membrane system. Cu(II) and Zn(II) can be selectively concentrated by uphill transport. Dual PIM system has a good stability for simultaneous separation. Kinetic reaction rate is the controlling factor of transport of metal ions.
