A coupled autocatalytic reaction model is studied for species interconversion. Steady state multiplicity and oscillations are found in the model. The extinction of species is dependent on species undergoing cubic autocatalysis. The generation and decay of species in cubic autocatalysis play a dominant role. Extinction features for all possible parameter combinations have been analyzed.
