Effects of the nuclear disaster on marine products in Fukushima: An update after five years
文摘

We analyzed radiocesium data of monitored marine species during 2011–2015.

Radiocesium concentrations in demersal fish decreased, even within 20 km from the FDNPP.

Four samples (0.05%) exceeded the Japanese limit of 100 Bq kg−1-wet in 2015.

Cs-137 in fish inside and outside of the FDNPP port decreased exponentially in 2012–2015.

Pilot-scale fishing in Fukushima Prefecture target more areas and species.
