Energy balance and evapotranspiration changes in a larch forest caused by severe disturbance during an early secondary succession

A cool temperate larch forest was disturbed greatly by windthrow caused by a typhoon. Evapotranspiration decreased by only 24% despite catastrophic biomass reduction. Evapotranspiration in the snow-free season recovered in 6 years after disturbance.
