Anatase nanoparticles boundaries resulting from titanium tetrachloride hydrolysis

文摘
TiCl4 hydrolysis produces small anatase nanoparticles but mainly amorphous titania. Solvation of bridging OH protons of amorphous titania generates hydronium species. Hydronium species favor the bonding of amorphous titania to anatase nanoparticles. 1H-MAS NMR spectroscopy is able to investigate nanoparticles boundaries formation.
