Limited oligometastatic disease may be more biologically indolent and favorable. Local treatment may improve survival, delay systemic therapy, or cure. Stereotactic body radiation therapy has been used with promising outcomes. Studies needed to define benefit, dose, systemic therapy, and patient selection.
