The tolerance number of nicking site in DNA template is demonstrated to be two.

A cross-triggered amplification is introduced to improve the sensing performance.

A sensitive and selective sensor is designed for uracil-DNA glycosylase detection.

The work might provide useful information for G-quadruplex DNAzyme-based sensors.
