A reconsidered double inclusion (RDI) model with coated inclusion is developed. The RDI model shows a significant improvement compared to the DI model for three-phase composites. The effective viscoelastic complex moduli are obtained as a function of interphase properties. The efficiency of the model is proved for DMA in the frequency domain. The model is applied to predict the viscoelastic properties of a carbon-black filled styrene butadiene rubber.
